Graduate Scholarships, Fellowships, and Awards

Each year, the College of Education honors graduate students in education who demonstrate academic excellence, public service, and commitment to meeting the educational challenges of the present and future.

The College of Education scholarships, fellowships, and awards are made possible by the generosity of friends, alumni and former faculty of the College who honor the academic achievement, service and commitment of our students. These awards are merit-based and competitively determined. Students will be invited to apply by their Academic Department and will be asked to submit completed application and supporting materials online by Friday, February 24, 2012. Late nominations and supporting materials will not be accepted.

Recipients and Academic Departments will be notified of selection by the College Associate Dean for Academic Programs of the Student Academic Affairs Office by mid-April and honored at the College of Education Student Recognition Brunch held Saturday, October20, 2012. Attendance at the Student Recognition Brunch is mandatory and is a required condition of all College of Education scholarships, fellowships, award recipients. Many of our donors also attend and they want, and expect, to meet the students who will benefit from their generosity.
