Visiting Project Coordinator

The Department of Educational Policy Studies is seeking applications for a Visiting Project Coordinator. The Visiting Project Coordinator will be a part of the research and development team involved in the 'Assess-As-You-Go Writing Assistant: A Student Work Environment That Brings Together Formative and Summative Assessment' project. This position will manage the day-to-day operations of the project, anchoring and managing the ongoing schedule of research activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise classroom and teacher recruitment for labs; liaise with school personnel.
- Manage logistics for school-based activities, including compliance with IRB requirements.
- Manage and advise graduate assistants involved in the collection of all project-required data.
- Analyze data collected throughout the project period.
- Assist in manuscript preparation, report dissemination and paper presentations based on project data results.
- Prepare and monitor project plans, organize and maintain project materials, and ensure project goals are achieved in a timely fashion.
- Organize and document meetings of the project team.
- Provide support for other research and project development duties, as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience
Education: Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Technologies or Psychometrics.
Experience: Previous research project experience. The ability to work in teams or lead teams effectively.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Education:
Ph.D. degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Technologies or Psychometrics.
Knowledge and expertise in the following areas essential:
Educational research methods
Educational research and development team coordination
Knowledge and expertise in the following areas are a plus:
Educational Technologies
Educational Assessment
Instructional Design
Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Appointment Status: Visiting, 100 %-time appointment.
