Graduate Programs Committee

The College of Education Graduate Programs Committee implements the College’s policies and procedures regarding graduate programs; reviews, monitors, and recommends changes in all graduate programs and their requirements; reviews applications for exceptions to program policy; provides coordination for various department initiatives; and enhances consistency in graduate programs across departments through information sharing.

Committee Schedule and Deadlines

Committee meetings will be held once a month during the academic year. Fall 2009 meetings will be 1:30-3:30 in 210A Education on the following dates:

October 21, 2009
November 18, 2009
December 16, 2009

New or revised course or program proposals should be provided to your department office for entry into the SIS system and then forwarded to Kathy Stalter, Student Academic Affairs Office, 120B Education.

Course revision forms and permanent number assignments can be submitted at any time. However, new course proposals and new or revised program proposals must be submitted by the deadline listed below in order to be reviewed at the next Graduate Programs Committee meeting. Late submissions will not be accepted.

October 9 for October 21, 2009 meeting
November 6 for November 18, 2009 meeting
December 4 for December 16, 2009 meeting
