Email & Calendaring
Although the College offers very few email services directly, support for campus email and calendaring accounts and the multitude of related services is a significant role we play. Please read what we offer below. For any of the support or consultation on any of the below below please call User Services at 244-6053.
Support for Email Accounts from CITES
Faculty and staff of the College of Education are encouraged to use any one of CITES' email services available from the CITES Help Desk: 244-7000. We provide support for all of them.
Support for Calendaring Accounts from CITES
Faculty and staff of the College of Education are encouraged to use the Premium Exchange Service from CITES in order to yield the benefits of a common calendaring system. Most staff in Education Administration and many department executives and administrative staff have Exchange accounts. Because of the limited exposure, our ability to support CITES' Corporate Time (Oracle) calendaring solution is limited.
Email Accounts for College Offices
The College of Education supplements CITES' services by providing email accounts for specific college functions (e.g., admissions@ed.uiuc.edu). To request such an account, please contact User Services at 244-6053.
Email Mailing Lists/Newsgroups/Web Conferencing
Faculty and staff are encouraged to use any one of CITES services in this area. As with email accounts, the College provides support for all of them.
