National Science Foundation Proposal Workshop
In March 2004, ROO sponsored a seminar on strategies for writing education research proposals to NSF. Panelists included College Faculty Fouad Abd-El-Khalick, Carolyn Anderson, Art Baroody, Lizanne DeStefano, Jennifer Greene, and ROO Director Beth Grosshandler. Presentation materials are available online. Video of the seminar on VHS and DVD is available in 38 Education for checkout to College faculty and student.
A workshop with updated information about changes at NSF was held in May 2006. Handouts from that session can be found here.
Writing for Publication Workshop
The Research Opportunities Office Periodically sponsors Writing for Publication Seminars for faculty and graduate students. Advice from Georgia Garcia, Janis Chadsey, and Nicholas Burbules on writing for publication is available online.
Graduate Funding Workshop Handout
ROO sponsors periodic funding seminars for graduate student.
